• Account information — your email address and password when you sign up.
• Billing information — name on card and payment details, processed through our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers on our servers).
• Store data — product catalog, order status, and policy documents you connect or upload so the assistant can answer accurately.
• Usage data — chat volume, feature usage, and basic analytics used to operate and improve the service.

02 How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Techaton AI assistant on your storefront.
• Process trial activation, subscription billing, and plan changes.
• Respond to support requests sent through the Contact page, email, or phone.
• Monitor usage against your plan's chat and connection limits.
• Improve reliability and accuracy of the assistant's responses.

03 Payment data

Card details entered at checkout are transmitted directly to our payment processor over an encrypted connection. Techaton AI does not store your full card number, expiry date, or CVC on our servers.

For trial signups, your card is verified but not charged until the trial period ends, unless you cancel beforehand.

04 Your store data

When you connect your WooCommerce store, we access product, order, and policy data solely to power the assistant's responses to your customers. This data is used only in connection with your account and is not used to train models shared across other customers' stores.

05 Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the platform, such as hosting and payment processing partners.
• Authorities, if required to comply with a legal obligation.
• A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same privacy commitments.

06 Data retention

We retain account and store data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain data for a limited period in case you reactivate, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

07 Security

We use encryption in transit and industry-standard safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we work to continuously improve our protections.

08 Your choices

You can access, update, or delete your account information from your account settings, or by contacting us directly. You may disconnect your WooCommerce store at any time, which stops further data access.

09 Children's privacy

Techaton AI is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. Continued use of Techaton AI after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
